FAQs
How long will my programme take?
Programmes take between 7-14 days to give satisfying results, but you should be able to see changes from early days. As you can imagine, good habits need to be well established in order to stay with us a long time, therefore I would highly recommend to hold onto the recommended routines laid out in your desgined plan.
What is your guarantee?
My promise is to make every effort to design your individualised programme and provide high touch support, however your input is what will bring success in sleep training your baby. It entirely depends on your following through my suggested plan, consistency and motivation. It might sound like hard work especially if you are exhausted, but that is why I am here to help. I have the right tools to help you stay consistent and motivated.
Will my baby cry?
I won't beat round the bush, babies will cry a little when posed to change! Crying is all about communication and one of the only means your baby can express themselves. And although, understandably, no parent likes to hear their baby cry, sometimes it is good to listen to their cry, to understand what these little ones are trying to tell us. If we work together, we will look at the science behind crying to understand why babies cry and if iti is healthy for them to cry.
I will never recommend the Cry It Out method - let's face it, you don't need a sleep practitioner to teach you that! And I will never suggest that you should neglect or not soothe your crying baby!
Is your sleep training involving a rigid and strict method?
No! As I mentioned we will work together to co-design your programme so that it fits your parental approach. We will adjust along the way, so that you are comfortable with the methods used.
